Basketball Game Preview: Penns Valley Area Rams vs. Clearfield Bison

Penns Valley Area is headed into the contest having just posted their biggest win since February 2, 2024 on Friday. They blew past Philipsburg-Osceola, posting a 64-37 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rams.

Meanwhile, Clearfield had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bearcats, sneaking past 51-48. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bison have posted since January 26, 2024.

Penns Valley Area has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Clearfield, they pushed their record up to 5-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.
