Redwood is 8-1 against Monache since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Rangers will head out on the road to challenge the Marauders at 4:30 p.m. Redwood will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

If Redwood beats Monache with 11 runs on Thursday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. The Rangers were the clear victors by an 11-4 margin over Porterville on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Monache hadn't done well against El Diamante recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Marauders narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Miners 4-3. Winning may never get old, but the Marauders sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Monache's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Rolando Quinones, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI. Those two RBI gave Quinones a new career-high.

Redwood's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-7. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.7 runs over those games. As for Monache, their victory bumped their record up to 16-7.

Redwood came up short against Monache in their previous matchup back in March, falling 5-1. Can the Rangers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
