Basketball Recap: Eagleton College & Career Academy Comes Up Short

The Eagleton College & Career Academy Royals came up short against the Washburn Pirates on Saturday and fell 59-50. The Royals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Matthew Harville had a dynamite game For Washburn., dropping a double-double with 19 points and 11 boards. Landry Coffey was another key player, putting up eight points and five assists.

Eagleton College & Career Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Washburn, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Eagleton College & Career Academy will face off against Wartburg Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Washburn, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 76-62 defeat against Cumberland Gap on the 24th.
