Softball Recap: Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central Comes Up Short

Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central was the 4-3 winner over McEwen when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 4-3 on Wednesday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lilly McGee was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 20-5. As for McEwen, they pushed their record up to 14-5 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home.

As of now, neither Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
