Basketball Recap: Monroe County Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Monroe County took on Williamson on Monday. The Tigers were dealt an 87-52 loss at the hands of the Lions. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Monroe County's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Williamson, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Looking ahead, Monroe County will head out to challenge Flomaton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Williamson, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Baldwin County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions will be up against the Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 59.44 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
