Elmore County is a perfect 3-0 against Chilton County since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Panthers will face off against the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Elmore County has 13 straight wins, Chilton County has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Elmore County barely beat Brewbaker Tech the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers blew past the Rams 4-0 on Tuesday. Elmore County's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last six games.

Meanwhile, Chilton County fell victim to Calera and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 10-0 to the Eagles. That's two games in a row now that Chilton County have lost by exactly ten goals.

Elmore County's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-0. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 39 goals over those nine contests. As for Chilton County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-14-1.

Elmore County beat Chilton County by a goal in their previous meeting back in February, winning 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
