Baseball Recap: Normangee Takes a Loss

Normangee came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 8-0 to the Centerville Tigers. The shutout was out of character for the Panthers seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

Normangee has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Centerville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-2-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Normangee will take on rival Lovelady at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Centerville is set to square off against their familiar foe Grapeland at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
