Baseball Game Preview: Corinth Holders Pirates vs. Laney Buccaneers

For the second straight game, Corinth Holders will face off against Laney. The Pirates will be playing at home against the Buccaneers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Corinth Holders has won 23 straight at home dating back to last season, while Laney won 11 straight on the road), something that'll have to change.

Corinth Holders heads in on the heels of a playoff contest on Tuesday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (6-3), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. Their loss signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Laney's win bumped their record up to 24-4. As for Corinth Holders, their defeat dropped their record down to 25-4.
