Softball Recap: East Iberville Sets Scoring Season-High Against Donaldsonville

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East Iberville). Everything went their way against Donaldsonville on Thursday as East Iberville made off with a 25-1 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for East Iberville as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on M. Arthur, who fired off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in hits. Another player making a difference was C. Trice, who scored three runs and stole Five bases. while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

East Iberville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .871. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

East Iberville's victory bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Donaldsonville, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.
