Baseball Recap: North Medford Wins Going Away Against South Eugene

North Medford won the last time they faced South Eugene and things went their way on Saturday too. The Black Tornado were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Axe. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Black Tornado.

Macen Baker spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on seven hits.

At the plate, North Medford let Dominic Daffron and Colton Miller run wild. Daffron went 2-for-4 with three runs, while Miller went 1-for-2 with one triple and two RBI. Those three runs gave Daffron a new career-high.

North Medford's victory bumped their record up to 15-7. As for South Eugene, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-18.
