Hamburg is 8-2 against Warren since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Lions will challenge the Lumberjacks at 5:00 p.m. Hamburg is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.

Things were looking good for Hamburg after they put the first runs on the board on Tuesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They came up short against Star City, falling 14-3.

L McKelvey made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI. M Denmon also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Meanwhile, Warren lost 20-9 to Monticello on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Lumberjacks in their meetings with the Billies: they've now lost eight in a row.

Bayleigh Miller was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs. Another player making a difference was Haven Johnson, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Hamburg's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Warren, their loss dropped their record down to 9-2.

Hamburg beat Warren 10-5 when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Do the Lions have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lumberjacks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
