Soccer Recap: Cherokee Bluff Now 8-2 over Last Ten Games

Cherokee Bluff proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by eight) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Oconee County Warriors. For Cherokee Bluff, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 win Oconee County walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Cherokee Bluff has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 61 goals over those ten matchups. As for Oconee County, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-6 record.

Cherokee Bluff and Oconee County will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Bears see the pitch they'll take on Gainesville at 5:30 p.m. on the 15th. As for Oconee County, their break will end when they face Parkview at 5:30 p.m. on the 15th.
