The Roncalli Jets will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against the New Holstein Huskies at 4:30 p.m. Both teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.
Roncalli had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They never let Gibraltar onto the board and left with a 13-0 victory on Monday.
Gretchen Kapic made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only two hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Kapic was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three runs, a triple, and an RBI.
