Baseball Game Preview: Vision vs. Nampa Christian Trojans

Vision hasn't had much luck against Nampa Christian recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. Vision will challenge Nampa Christian at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Vision is headed into Wednesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 14th straight game on Monday. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Melba.

Payton Williams made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. Coben Birch also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Nampa Christian couldn't beat Marsing on Monday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fifth inning. The Trojans fell just short of the Huskies by a score of 5-4. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nampa Christian's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 12-4-1. As for Vision, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.

Vision might still be hurting after the 9-3 defeat they got from Nampa Christian in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Can Vision avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
