Softball Recap: Jensen Beach Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Jensen Beach not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since February 20th (when they won 18-0). They were the clear victors by an 18-3 margin over the Lincoln Park Academy Greyhounds. The victory was nothing new for the Falcons as they're now sitting on three straight.

Izzy Ouellette and Molly Santiago did most of the damage at the plate: Ouellette went 3-for-4 with six RBI, three doubles, and one stolen base, while Santiago got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Those six RBI gave Ouellette a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Stormy Ziegler, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run.

Jensen Beach always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .750. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lincoln Park Academy only posted an OBP of .421.

Jensen Beach's record now sits at 9-6. As for Lincoln Park Academy, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-10-1.

Jensen Beach didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-3 win against Satellite on the 15th. As for Lincoln Park Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 9-0 loss against Legacy on the 16th.
