Basketball Recap: Ardmore Comes Up Short

Ardmore lost against Madison County back in January of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Ardmore Tigers took a 73-57 bruising from the Madison County Tigers. While losing is never fun, Ardmore can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 366th, while Madison County is ranked 182nd).

Ardmore's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Madison County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-4.

Ardmore wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 68-59 win against Athens Bible on the 4th. As for Madison County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Plainview at 7:00 p.m. on January 10th.
