Volleyball Preview: Tri-Valley Warriors vs. Koliganek Huskies
The Tri-Valley Warriors will square off against the Koliganek Huskies at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.
Tri-Valley heads in on the heels of a playoff game on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Unalaska. The shutout was out of character for the Warriors seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in October.
Koliganek kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against Wrangell, falling 3-0.
Tri-Valley has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Koliganek, they now have a losing record at 0-1.
