Basketball Recap: Make It 12 in a Row for Lamar

Lamar waltzed into their match on Friday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. Everything went their way against the Cossatot River Eagles as they made off with a 73-47 victory. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Lamar's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ben Noonan led the charge by dropping a double-double with 21 points and 17 boards. Noonan is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last 43 games he's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kade Boen, who posted 17 points and six boards.

Lamar pushed their record up to 23-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.8 points over those games. As for Cossatot River, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-9.
