Volleyball Recap: Tri-State Christian Extends Winning Streak to Four + How To Watch

Tri-State Christian waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Perryville Panthers by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Crusaders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Tri-State Christian might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Perryville scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 21-25, 25-18, 25-22.

Perryville's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Caitlyn O'Donnell, who had 18 digs, and Kira Morgan, who had 11 digs. O'Donnell is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 11 every time she's taken the court this season.

Tri-State Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Perryville, their defeat ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Tri-State Christian will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Avon Grove Charter at 4:30 p.m. on October 21. As for Perryville, they will face off against Elkton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
