The Music Mountain Warriors suffered their biggest loss since December 16, 2023 on Saturday. They were beaten by Dishchii'bikoh 58-26. Music Mountain just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.

Despite the loss, Music Mountain saw an underclassman step up: Aliyania Matuck scored 18 points. That was a full 69.2% of Music Mountain's points, marking the 11th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. A'oda Chavez was another key contributor, scoring six points.

Music Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Dishchii'bikoh, their win bumped their record up to 6-8.

Music Mountain does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Dishchii'bikoh and Joseph City will face off at 5:30 p.m. on January 22nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Joseph City is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road.
