Football Recap: Seton Hall Prep Takes a Loss

Seton Hall Prep and Don Bosco Prep squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Seton Hall Prep had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Ironmen and fell 42-7. The Pirates haven't had much luck with the Ironmen recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Jaylin Bullock threw for 134 yards on 17 of 29 attempts. Joseph Proscia was his top target, picking up 95 receiving yards.

Don Bosco Prep found their leader in sophomore Carson Schoen, who threw for 186 yards and two TDs. 98 of those passing yards were hauled in by Zakai Murphy, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Seton Hall Prep's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Don Bosco Prep, the win keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Seton Hall Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Don Bosco Prep, they will host Bergen Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Ironmen's defense better be ready for this one: the Crusaders have averaged an impressive 33 points per game this season.
