Apex Friendship had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Wednesday. Those  road  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Tuscola,  the  loss snapped their winning streak at nine games  and leaves them with a 10-3 record.
 Apex Friendship has already played their next match,  a  10-4  victory against Asheville on the 3rd. As for Tuscola, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  game,  an  8-3  win against Pisgah on the 4th.
