Football Game Preview: McLoughlin/Griswold vs. La Grande

If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for La Grande. They will look to defend their home turf on Friday against McLoughlin/Griswold at 7:00 PM. La Grande are coming into the game hot, having won three in a row.

La Grande put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season last Friday. They took the match and then some with a 49-12 win over Ontario. For La Grande, this is just revenge for the 14-34 loss they suffered against Ontario the last time they faced one another.

Meanwhile, McLoughlin/Griswold were out to avenge their 0-41 defeat to Baker from the last time they squared off against one another, but they had no such luck. McLoughlin/Griswold were completely outmatched, falling 12-48 to Baker. McLoughlin/Griswold's defeat continues a disappointing trend for the team, making it six losses in a row.

La Grande simply couldn't be stopped three weeks ago, as they easily beat McLoughlin/Griswold 48-0. Will La Grande repeat their success, or does McLoughlin/Griswold have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
