Easley waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Greenwood Eagles as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.
Easley walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-20, 25-11.
Claire Bivens paced Easley's offense, picking up ten kills. Bivens got some help from Kate Kelley and her 21 assists. Bivens was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
Easley's win bumped their record up to 17-12. As for Greenwood, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-23.
As of now, neither Easley nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
