Baseball Game Preview: East Chambers Buccaneers vs. Kirbyville Wildcats

For the second straight game, East Chambers will face off against Kirbyville. The Buccaneers will host the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. East Chambers is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

East Chambers fell victim to Kirbyville and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 15-0.

For Kirbyville's part, Ethan Gatlin was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. Those two runs gave Gatlin a new career-high. Max Myers was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Kirbyville has been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.
