Baseball Recap: Santaluces Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Santaluces's offense. They lost 16-0 to the Park Vista Cobras on Tuesday. The Chiefs' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Santaluces saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zach Raab, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Daniel Vargas also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Santaluces' defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Park Vista, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.

Coming up, Santaluces will be playing in front of their home fans against Saint Andrew's at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Park Vista, they are taking a road trip to challenge Spanish River at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
