Soccer Game Recap: Magee vs. Mendenhall

Magee's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Mendenhall Tigers a 2-0 shutout. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Trojans were the better team in the second half.

Maycie Smith was the driving force of Magee's attack as she scored both of Magee's goals, bringing her season total up to 12 goals.

Magee picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 4-5-1. As for Mendenhall, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Magee will be home for the holidays to greet Quitman at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mendenhall will take on Northeast Jones in a holiday battle at at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
