Basketball Recap: Midway Takes a Loss

Midway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a blow against the Porum Panthers, falling 56-27. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Chargers of the 63-23 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Midway's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Porum, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Midway will take on Gans at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Midway is facing Gans at the right time seeing as Gans is stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Porum, they will challenge Webbers Falls at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
