Soccer Game Preview: Sports Leadership & Management vs. FAU High

The Sports Leadership & Management Giants will head out to face off against the FAU High Owls at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Sports Leadership & Management will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Thursday, then bounced right back against Lake Worth Christian on Monday. Sports Leadership & Management put the hurt on Lake Worth Christian with a sharp 4-1 win. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Giants' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

They hit Lake Worth Christian with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Landon Blanco (2), Aldo Morais, and Fellype Campos.

Meanwhile, FAU High can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. Neither they nor Dr. Joaquin Garcia could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Owls have been dealt a draw since back in December of 2024.

FAU High's draw makes their record 5-5-4 this season. As for Sports Leadership & Management, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7-2.
