Recap: Red Cloud Crusaders vs. Hill City Rangers
Even though the Hill City Rangers scored an imposing 63 points on Saturday, the Red Cloud Crusaders still came out on top. Red Cloud narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Hill City 66-63. That's another feather in the cap for Red Cloud, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Red Cloud had a senior duo take command as Monty Montileaux scored 22 points and Nick Zuniga scored 17 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals. Another player making a difference was Josh Anderson, who scored 11 points along with 6 rebounds.
Red Cloud's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Hill City, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Red Cloud will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Todd County at 3:30 p.m. Hill City is on the road again on Thursday and play against New Underwood at 7:30 p.m. on December 14th.
