Pearl City never let their opponents score on Friday. Everything went their way against the Durand Bulldogs as they made off with a 15-0 victory. Considering the Wolves have won 11 games by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Mackenzie Lotz made a splash while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one home run and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April.
In other batting news, Jorja Johnson was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Kendra Kuhlemeier was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one run.
