Baseball Recap: South Plantation Takes a Loss

South Plantation lost against Pine Crest back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The South Plantation Paladins came up short against the Pine Crest Panthers, falling 11-3. The Paladins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

John McDevitt was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Lucas Decordova, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases.

Even though they lost, South Plantation always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. This was only their first loss (out of three games) when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

South Plantation's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Pine Crest, their win bumped their record up to 4-1-1.

South Plantation didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 12-4 victory against Fort Lauderdale on the 6th. As for Pine Crest, they have also already played their next game, a 4-1 win against NSU University on the 5th.
