Seth Thornton put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in February on Wednesday. He struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long.

Thornton's strong effort led West Forsyth over Lambert and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are at an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2022, but likely not for long.
