Baseball Recap: Northside Methodist Academy Comes Up Short

Northside Methodist Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss. They took a 12-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Providence Christian Eagles. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Northside Methodist Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reid Roberts, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. That run marked the first that Roberts scored this season.

Northside Methodist Academy's record is now 0-19. As for Providence Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-12 record this season.

While Northside Methodist Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
