Basketball Recap: Kemmerer Comes Up Short

Kemmerer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 61-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Shoshoni Wranglers. The Rangers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wranglers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Kemmerer's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Shoshoni, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-5.

Coming up, Kemmerer will face off against Wind River at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Shoshoni, they will head out on the road to take on Hot Springs County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hot Springs County will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Shoshoni surely won't give up without a fight.
