Basketball Recap: Prairie View Takes a Loss

Prairie View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the St. Francis Prep Terriers and fell 66-23.

Prairie View's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Taiye Ojowa, who posted five points.

Prairie View's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for St. Francis Prep, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Prairie View didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 70-53 defeat against Mullen on the 6th. As for St. Francis Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 71-31 win against Windsor on the 6th.
