Softball Recap: Brunswick Takes a Loss

Brunswick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 19-10 to the Greensville County Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-6 back in April.

Brunswick's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6-1. As for Greensville County, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brunswick will host Surry County at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Greensville County, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Windsor at 5:00 p.m.
