Softball Recap: Lebanon Gets the Win

While Lebanon's win against West Albany wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Warriors sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-8 victory over the Bulldogs on Monday. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Tatum Cole, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Taelyn Whitney, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Lebanon's record now sits at 3-9. As for West Albany, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-10.

Coming up, Lebanon will head out to take on Crescent Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Raiders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.38 runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for West Albany, they will welcome Cleveland at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
