Metairie Park Country Day waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Warren Easton Fighting Eagles 20-14. That's more bragging rights for the Cajuns, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Metairie Park Country Day pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 19.0 runs over those games. As for Warren Easton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5-1.

Looking ahead, Metairie Park Country Day will square off against St. Katharine Drexel at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Warren Easton, they will face off against Archbishop Chapelle at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
