Volleyball Recap: Providence Christian Academy Takes a Loss

If Providence Christian Academy was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Evangelical Christian on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The LIONS fell 3-1 to the Lakeway Christian Academy Lions on Saturday.

Providence Christian Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 26-24, 25-19, 25-16.

Providence Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Lakeway Christian Academy, their win was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 23-2.

As of now, neither Providence Christian Academy nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
