St. Mary had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Lodi Flames. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

St. Mary's had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-22, 25-22, 25-22.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Mary's to victory, but perhaps none more so than Rachel Nemee, who had 34 digs and five assists. That's the most assists Nemee has posted over her last ten contests. The team also got some help courtesy of Genevieve Rishwain, who had ten digs and three aces.

St. Mary's was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in seven consecutive matches.

St. Mary's victory bumped their record up to 15-8. As for Lodi, they moved to 11-8 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak.
