Volleyball Recap: Osawatomie Comes Up Short

Osawatomie lost against Santa Fe Trail on Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Trojans fell just short of the Chargers by a score of 2-1.

Osawatomie started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-19, 25-18.

Osawatomie has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-18 record this season. As for Santa Fe Trail, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-9-1 record this season.

Osawatomie wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Maur Hill Prep-Mount Academy on the 11th. As for Santa Fe Trail, they have also already played their next contest, a 0-0 tie against Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] on the 11th.
