Salt Fork is a perfect 3-0 against Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley since September of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Storm will welcome the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Salt Fork will be strutting in after a win while Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley will be coming in after a loss.

Salt Fork's tournament run continued when they took on Hutsonville/Palestine on Saturday. The Storm came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Storm.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Falcons on Wednesday. Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley fell just short of Flanagan-Cornell by a score of 2-1. Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 16-25, 25-16, 25-23.

Salt Fork's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.

Salt Fork skirted past Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley 2-1 in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. Will the Storm repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
