Pine Lake Prep entered their tilt with Corvian Community on Wednesday with ten consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 11. They never let the Cardinals get on the board and left with a 9-0 win. Given Pine Lake Prep's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 19th, while Corvian Community are ranked 258th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Pine Lake Prep's offense was hitting Corvian Community from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Avery Garrett led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Pine Lake Prep's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2. As for Corvian Community, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11-1 record this season.
