Softball Recap: Blackford Takes a Loss

Blackford's last matchup with Maconaquah could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Saturday. The Bruins lost 14-4 to the Braves. The Bruins have struggled against the Braves recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Blackford's record is now 5-10. As for Maconaquah, they moved to 4-13 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Blackford will venture away from home to square off against Mississinewa at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Indians will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Bruins surely won't give up without a fight. As for Maconaquah, they will host Northfield at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Braves are facing the Norsemen at the right time seeing as the Norsemen are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
