Volleyball Recap: Smithsburg Comes Up Short

Smithsburg was the 3-0 winner over Oakdale when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Leopards fell 3-1 to Oakdale on Wednesday. The Leopards have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Smithsburg's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Oakdale, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Smithsburg and North Hagerstown will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oakdale, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Clear Spring at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
