Softball Recap: Chilton County Takes a Loss

After flying high against Benjamin Russell on Thursday, Chilton County came back down to earth. The Tigers took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oak Mountain Eagles on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Chilton County's loss dropped their record down to 12-14-1. As for Oak Mountain, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

Chilton County has already played their next contest, a 15-0 victory against Calera on the 9th. As for Oak Mountain, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Vestavia Hills on the 7th.
