Softball Preview: Sisters Outlaws vs. Crook County Cowboys
Sisters is 0-4 against Crook County since March of 2017 but things could change on Monday. The Sisters Outlaws will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Crook County Cowboys at 8:00 a.m.
Sisters is coming home looking for redemption after taking a loss in their road opener. They came up short against Culver on Tuesday, falling 15-3. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 16 in a row.
Meanwhile, Crook County gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Grant Union as Crook County made off with an 18-3 win.
Madisyn Hardman was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Hardman was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Crook County let Moriah Riley and Kya Mozingo run wild. Riley scored two runs while going 1-for-3, while Mozingo scored two runs while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Jolene Bartolotti, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
