It was a good run, but Southwestern unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the East Jessamine Jaguars by a score of 9-7. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 9-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Southwestern's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for East Jessamine, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-14 record.

Looking ahead, Southwestern will welcome Wayne County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for East Jessamine, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 9-7 win against Casey County on the 26th.
