Volleyball Recap: Gorham's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four + How To Watch

Gorham had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They blew past the Noble Knights 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rams also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2023.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Gorham took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-13, 25-14.

Their offense was headlined by Emily Fluet and Abigail Stevens, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Liana Edwards and her eight assists. Lauren Dunbar controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Gorham's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Noble, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Gorham will square off against rival Thornton Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Noble is set to take on their familiar foe Biddeford at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
